When Tabitha needed to be transferred to a more specialist hospital for care, she was given a quilt to go with her and a hat to keep her warm as she was treated. We were so grateful she had them as we couldn't get the ones we packed to her in time. Most babies in her unit were premature so needed blankets and hats of different sizes too.
The amazing Made & Making in West Sussex hold charity sew sessions every third Monday of the month. They are hosting baby quilt making sessions that we will then donate to hospitals for special babies in need. Get in touch with Sarah to see how you can help.
If you can't get to one of the sessions use the contact us form below
to see how you can still get involved.
You can download a PDF pattern for knitted blankets that are in great need too. These are usually given to bereaved parents so we ask that they are knitted in white, neutral or pastel colours. We will pass these on to the hospital for you. Let us know if you need any further information.
